Nicky and Liam have only twenty-four short hours to find out if their instantaneous attraction can develop into something more than an electric mile-high fumble. San Francisco has everything they need to put their previous disastrous relationships behind them, but when they lose touch with each other almost immediately, fate seems to have other ideas. As the precious hours tick away, Liam moves heaven and earth to find the woman of his (filthiest) dreams before she leaves the city. Will he get to her in time?

San Francisco is Book Five in Tirgearr Publishing’s City Night Series, and is an excellent addition to the series.

Quick and easy to read, this novella is hot from the word go. I was unsure about Nicky and Liam’s characters at first as the initial scene was more seedy than erotic, however it soon progresses and their characters grow with the story. Their initial encounter also makes more sense once you discover their pasts.

The scenes themselves are described well, and it is easy for a reader to imagine being in San Francisco, eating at the diner, or being in the board room. The sex is hot and well-written, with it becoming more romantic, and love rather than lust, as we get to the happy ending.

My inability to truly connect with Nicky is the only reason I have given this story four-stars instead of five. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick, erotic read.

Heat Level:

Scorching! Actively graphic sex scenes including foreplay and masturbation.

Heart Throbs:

heartheartheartheartempty heart
