After a lifetime of wishing, at last Celia’s in Rome! But exploring the timeless art and ancient monuments on her own wasn’t part of the plan. Will the magic of the Eternal City provide some romance before her holiday ends?

One Night in Rome is the third book of Tirgearr Pubishing’s City Nights Series, and it does not disappoint. Fast-paced with sizzling seduction, a heart-throb hero and a hot heroine, and more importantly, beautifully written. The sex scenes are vivid to say the least, but written so well that they fit the story perfectly.

It wasn’t all sex though. I loved the use of language to describe the art and history of the city. The imaginative and wonderful description left me feeling as though I could really envisage the little cafe, and taste the artichokes. I’ve certainly added Rome to the list of places I have to visit!

As with the other stories in this series, it’s a quick read (I read it in less than half a day), but is ideal for coffee-breaks, train journeys or holidays by the pool / on the beach.

Heat Level:

Sizzling! This book contains graphic sex with scenes of foreplay.

Heart Throbs:
